Absolutely gorgeous. Comes with a dead battery.

Still need to take it to the jeweler. I'll come back to update my review in case it is actually broken.

Thank you for your review, Sara. We're delighted to hear that you find the Zeitgeist Automatik Blue Orange absolutely gorgeous, and we're sorry to learn about the issue with the watch not functioning.

As an automatic watch, the Zeitgeist doesn't use a battery - it's powered by the natural movement of your wrist. If the watch isn't running, it may simply need to be wound or given some movement to start the automatic mechanism. However, we want to ensure everything is working perfectly for you.

Our customer service team will reach out to you shortly to provide guidance and assist with any necessary next steps. We appreciate your patience and look forward to hearing your updated thoughts once everything is resolved.

    Problems with this watch model

On October 19, 2025, I purchased this watch model and since it was started, the machinery stopped working after two hours. Its operation is perfect when it works, but I don't understand that the operating duration is so short.

I have another model from you and I was able to spend a week and it still doesn't stop working.

Do you have a representative in Barcelona where I can assert the warranty?

    I would appreciate an answer.

    thanks

Frequently asked questions

Is this watch water-resistant?

Yes. This watch features 5 ATM water resistance and a sapphire-hardened mineral glass. It's built to handle everyday moisture (rain, handwashing) and the scratch-resistant glass ensures durability in daily wear.

Can I easily swap the straps on the watch?

Yes, all our models have interchangeable straps with a quick-release mechanism. This lets you change the look or replace straps without any tools.
On the back of both halves, you will find a small pin. Push it gently inwards to easily remove the strap. To attach a new strap, simply simply reverse the process.

What is pure sapphire glass?

This watch features pure sapphire glass – one of the hardest and most durable materials used in watchmaking. Sapphire crystal is highly scratch-resistant (second only to diamond), helping your watch stay clear and free from everyday marks.
It also offers excellent transparency and a premium feel, ensuring your dial remains crisp, clear, and easy to read for years to come.

How does Superluminova work?

Superluminova is a special substance that glows in the dark after being exposed to light. It needs to be charged with light to glow. The brightness and duration of the glow depend on several factors, including the duration of exposure to light. Bright LED light, for example, works better than natural light on a cloudy day. The angle also matters; the watch charges less when it's moving on your wrist compared to when it's directly under a light source.

What do I do if my automatic watch stops running?

An automatic watch is powered by movement. If it stops, simply wind it manually by turning the crown clockwise about 30-40 times, then set the time and wear the watch. Regular daily wear will keep it running. If the watch has not been worn for a while, it may need to be wound again. If it continues to stop despite regular wear and winding, we recommend having it checked by a professional watchmaker.

Does an automatic watch need servicing? What does that involve?

Yes, because it’s built to be maintained, not discarded. Periodic servicing restores performance and extends lifetime; exact timing depends on wear and environment. See service as a complete mechanical refresh (cleaning, lubrication, testing), which is why mechanical watches are "keep for years" products.

What does "automatic" mean in day‑to‑day use?

Zeitgeist’s Swiss movement is a compact mechanical engine powered by your movement. No battery, just finely regulated mechanics. That’s the premium: a serviceable calibre, a smooth seconds sweep, and the feeling of real watchmaking on the wrist.

Will the watch stop if I don’t wear it?

Yes, and that’s normal for any mechanical automatic. Fully wound, the movement is specified at roughly 40 hours off the wrist, so overnight/next‑day wear is typically fine; a longer break just means a quick restart before wearing.

What level of timekeeping accuracy should I expect?

You should expect stable everyday precision from a Swiss automatic – small daily variation is normal because the balance and hairspring are doing real mechanical work. The movement is specified with grade-dependent limits (e.g., positional divergence values roughly ±30 sec/day), and our watchmakers can regulate further if needed.

Why might my watch run much shorter than the stated power reserve?

Think of power reserve as a buffer: once it has a "full tank", normal daily wear keeps it topped up. If it has stopped, a short manual wind is a fast restart (we advise around 30-40 turns for stopped automatics), then the rotor takes over during wear.

How should I store an automatic watch?

Proper storage helps maintain the accuracy, condition, and longevity of your automatic watch. Automatic watches can run slightly differently depending on how they rest, as gravity affects the movement in different positions. Storing the watch face down (dial down) can help fine-tune minor time deviations, while face up (dial up) or on its side can reduce the risk of dial or hand contact and limit dust settling on the crystal. Alternating resting positions helps to balance out small positional timing variations. If you wear your watch daily or rotate it frequently, the resting position is generally less important since it is regularly wound through normal use.

For safe storage, keep your watch in a clean, dry place – ideally in a watch box with a soft lining or on a padded cushion – to protect it from scratches and impacts. Avoid exposure to magnetic fields, such as those from electronics or speakers, as magnetism can affect accuracy. High humidity should also be avoided to help preserve seals and overall performance. If you don’t wear your automatic watch often, a watch winder can keep the movement running, although for most standard automatic models, allowing the watch to stop and simply winding it before wear is perfectly fine.

If something seems wrong, what is the warranty/repair process?

You’re covered by a clear process: warranty cases go through the portal with a free return label and documented issue handling; if it’s outside warranty, repairs are assessed and quoted before you decide. That structure is there to keep a mechanical product serviceable over time, not disposable.
