However, each material brings its own unique resistance advantages: Textile is noticeably more flexible and highly resistant to tearing, with the great advantage that scratches and minor surface wear are usually not visible on fabric. Meanwhile, mesh provides flexible breathable strength, and leather offers natural resilience when properly conditioned.

Which strap material is the most comfortable for sensitive skin?

All our straps are designed with comfort in mind. Our Stainless Steel and Mesh straps are made from Stainless Steel 316L (Allergy-neutral) and are completely Nickel-free. For a softer touch, our Leather and Textile straps are lightweight, breathable, and paired with Nickel-free buckles.

Can I wear my textile strap for running or during my daily workout?

Yes! Textile is exceptionally durable and lightweight, making it ideal for running or active movement. Because it is a fabric, it naturally absorbs sweat and body oils, so regular cleaning is recommended after heavy use. When wearing a textile strap for workouts, keep in mind that the watch head itself also has specific care requirements: while quartz watches are generally resistant to movement like jogging or running, it is better to avoid jogging with automatic watches, as the intense mechanical shock and vibrations can damage their internal parts. Additionally, you should always take your watch off for high-impact sports or any activities where the case or glass could be heavily scratched or shattered.

Is the textile strap suitable for swimming in the pool or the ocean?

Textile straps are fully water-resistant and dry out easily, but we recommend avoiding swimming with 5 ATM or 10 ATM watches to protect the watch head. If the strap is exposed to pool chlorine or ocean salt, immediately rinse it thoroughly with fresh water to prevent the harsh chemicals from degrading the Textile fibers.

Can I wear my textile strap in the sauna, or do heat and humidity affect it?

Textile is exceptionally breathable in hot weather and humidity. However, the extreme environment of a sauna can severely damage the watch head itself, so we advise taking the watch off entirely before entering.

What is the best way of cleaning my textile strap?

For proper washing and cleaning, remove the strap and hand-wash it in warm water with a mild detergent, scrubbing gently to release trapped oils. Air-dry completely flat. Avoid using the washing machine, because even if the textile resists the water, the metal parts of the watch may get scratches during the process.

Does my textile strap becomes discoloured?

No, the textile material itself does not inherently lose its color or bleach out because the fibers are produced from solid-colored recycled PET materials where the color is integrated throughout rather than just surface-dyed. However, they can sometimes look discoloured or darkened due to an accumulation of surface dirt, sweat, or oils trapped in the weave. This is easily resolved with a few simple steps: submerge the strap in warm water with mild dish soap, scrub gently with a soft toothbrush to lift stains from the fibers, rinse thoroughly with clean water, and let it air-dry completely out of direct sunlight to prevent color fading.

Is it easy to adjust the length of the textile strap?

Yes, the strap features a traditional buckle-and-hole system, allowing you to easily fine-tune the size directly on your wrist.

Are all the straps compatible with my watch?

Not all straps are universally compatible out-of-the-box, as compatibility depends on matching the correct width dimensions (such as 20mm or 22mm) to your watch case.
